The second Earth

The planet was found that has the same orbit that our planet and during 360 days revolves round its star.

This planet makes the part of the constellation of Perseus. It is the furthest of the known planets and is situated at the distance of about 300 light years.

The planet revolves around the star that is the red giant and is at the last stage of its evolution. According to astronomers only 10 planets of all 220 planets known to the science revolve round different giant stars.

The star around which the planet revolves is 10 times bigger and two times heavier the sun. And the sizes of the planet are similar to the sizes of Jupiter.

Investigations of this planet and its star are very useful because this star is practically the bigger copy of the sun. In fact our sun will be the same in several milliards years.

The sun will loose its nuclear power as the result it will grow and the activity of the sun will increase. As the result life will be impossible on our planet in two milliard years, the climate will become dry and hot. In 4-5 milliard years the sun will turn into red giant and will damage Mercury and Venus. But humanity has the possibility to survive. The temperature of satellites of Jupiter and Saturn is going to rise and will have all conditions necessary for human life.
