Meteors guests

According to the modern astrology all meteors that fall on out planet are of the Solar System precedence. So, the majority of meteors are the elements of asteroids or the comet dust. When they get to the Earth's atmosphere they blaze up leaving fire traces. They are often called "falling stars".

But recent investigations changed the theory that these "guests" from space are the strangers from the Solar System. The group of astrologists say that they watched the meteor of extragalactic origins.

According to scientist who investigates this problem, he noticed some strange phenomena in the spectrum of some meteors. Besides, the speed of these few meteors was extremely high. It was about 300 kilometres per second, while all normal meteors have the average speed 100 kilometres per second.

If to consider the fact that the sun and Earth move with the speed 220 kilometres per second, then it is possible to make the conclusion that this meteor is of extragalactic precedence.

The spectrum of the meteor had such elements as oxygen, iron, magnesium, iodine and nitrogen. And these are the elements that are formed inside stars.

Another speciality of the meteor of the Solar System is its size. Scientists say that the size of the meteor is several tens of millimetres. It is twice time bigger than the size of average meteors of the Solar System origin.

Later, scientists had more investigations to determine the number of other meteors of extragalactic precedence. During 34.5 hours of investigations scientists registered 245 meteors, 12 of which had high speed and could be strangers from other galaxies.
