Mars and plants

The Martian soil is good for plant and bacterial life, at least in the zone of landing of one of satellites of Earth. It has already worked up chemical and physical features of the soil. The main mission of this experiment hasn't changed for the last several years. But if scientists were looking for life creatures in the Mars, nowadays they are searching for favourable condition for this life.

Astronauts that control the data that are transmitted from the satellite presented the first data from the analysis of the soil.

The satellite took the soil from the depth of 2 centimetres and mixed it with the water from Earth. After it, special chemical and physical experiments were held in the laboratories of the Earth.

And the results of this experiment give astronauts the hope to confirm the theory about out-space precedence of the life in the Earth, as acidity of the soil had the same index as the acidity of the soil of the Earth.

In fact the soil of the Mars is similar to the soil of Antarctica. Of course it is not fertile soil but it contains the necessary elements in necessary proportions for cultivating plants.

According to scientists minerals of this planet are almost the same as minerals of Earth. Magnesium, sodium, potassium and chlorine were also found. And it was not new for scientists as these elements were found long time ago, but nobody knew the concentration of these elements in the soil of Mars.
